I started Steep Creative because too many good local businesses were being made invisible by digital systems they didn't understand. A plumber with 20 years of experience and hundreds of happy customers shouldn't be losing leads to a competitor with a flashier website or a bigger ad budget. The work should speak for itself — and the right digital infrastructure makes that possible.
My focus is on two things: building websites that convert visitors into calls, and making sure those sites show up where customers are actually searching. That increasingly means not just Google, but AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the practice of structuring a site so AI systems can read, trust, and recommend it. It's still early, and most agencies haven't caught up yet.
I work primarily with trades and service contractors across the Okanagan — plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, roofers, landscapers, and general contractors. Because Steep Creative is a small operation, every client works directly with me. No account managers, no offshore contractors, no chasing someone to get a straight answer.
